May, 2nd 2012 Today the Jesse Young for Congress campaign is proud to announce the following
endorsements in the race for Washington’s 6th District. The Grays Harbor Republican Party; Kim
Wyman, Thurston County Auditor; James Watkins, candidate for State Auditor; Dr. Art Coday, candidate
for U.S. Senate; Jim McEntire, Clallam County Commissioner; Doug Richards, candidate for State
Representative, 26th Legislative District; Drew McEwen, candidate for State Representative, 35th
Legislative District; Rick Winsman, candidate for State Senate, 19th Legislative District; and Pastor Joe
Fuiten, Cedar Park Assembly of God as well as many residents across the 6th District.
The enthusiasm for Young’s candidacy in Washington’s 6th is further demonstrated by the grassroots
support he’s received in each of the six counties in the District. With teams already established in each
county, the campaign has been actively reaching out to the community for the past year and has
generated a lot of excitement.
“The support shown by the citizens of the 6th District is quite humbling” Young said. “It re-affirms what
I’ve learned by travelling around the District over the last two years. We live among great folks who
want a positive future for their families and our country.”
Young is also enthusiastic to receive support from his future colleagues at the National Republican
Congressional Committee.
“We are looking forward to working with Jesse Young, who has already proven himself by meeting
rigorous benchmarks ... that will position his campaign for victory,” said NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions
(R-TX). Jesse Young's dedication and experience enables him to advocate effectively for pro-growth
policies and fight the failed status quo in Washington, D.C.”
Young today also welcomes campaign manager Jay Johnson. Johnson brings experience in Republican
politics both locally and on a national stage. This combined with his career in the financial services
industry complement Young’s ideas to revitalize the economy and enable job creation in the unique 6th
Congressional District.

Jesse Young is a Republican running for Congress in Washington’s 6th Congressional District. He is an
Information Technology consultant whose business experience in a variety of industries will help the 6th
District create jobs for the 21st Century. Jesse grew up in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood, and now
resides in Gig Harbor with his wife and five children.
